Description:

In 2002, the Lesser Prairie Chicken (LPC) was listed as a threatened and endangered species. As a result conservation practice have been implemented to protect LPC habitat. While the primary purpose of these conservation practices was to protect LPC habitat, they also generate positive economic contributions to the regional economy in the area where the practices are implemented.
