Description:
Brome seed midge is a pest of smooth bromegrass seed production, an important specialty crop grown in the Big Horn Basin. After an outbreak in 2020 the authors successfully developed an Integrated Pest Management plan for the midge in 2021. This publication explains the management steps needed to protect the crop.
