This publication outlines alternative crops for enhancing the commercial agricultural base of the Big Horn Basin, which accounts for 27 percent of the crop production value in Wyoming.The purpose of the project described was to develop maps to provide producers with potential alternatives to current crop production practices.Materials and methods used, a description of the soils, climate data, crop growth parameters, model information, and results are described. Maps and tables show the alternative crops and how they performed.
