Roundup ready Crop Use Recommendations for High Plains

PDF

Publication #: B-1057
Date Published: 07/01/2004

Publication Author(s):
Andrew R. Kniss
Stephen D. Miller
Robert G. Wilson
Philip Westra

Description:
Few weed management tools have had an impact on agriculture as immediate or dramatic as Roundup Ready? crops. The herbicide glyphosate has been used successfully with such crops for more than 25 years, and glyphosate-resistant weeds have developed. The authors maintain that such weeds should be aggressively managed but that they do not threaten Roundup Ready? technology.
