SUMMARY:University of Wyoming Meat Judging Youth Camp
DESCRIPTION:The University of Wyoming Meat Judging Team is excited to offer THREE opportunities for youth to learn\, practice\, and compete in meat judging this fall! Whether you’re brand new to meat judging or already have some experience\, there’s an opportunity for you.\n\n\n1. WYOMING MEAT JUDGING YOUTH CAMP\n October 3–5\n University of Wyoming | Laramie\, WY\n $275/camper\n Register by September 15\n\n\n2. WYOMING MEAT JUDGING YOUTH CONTEST\n October 5\n University of Wyoming Meat Lab | Laramie\, WY\n $20/contestant by September 15\n $30/contestant after September 15\n\n\nOur Oct. 5 contest will be held in conjunction with the youth camp\, but participation in camp is not required to compete.\n\n\n3. INAUGURAL YOUTH MEAT JUDGING CONTEST SERIES\n 2026–2027\n\n\nThe Oct. 5 contest is also the FIRST contest in our inaugural Youth Meat Judging Contest Series!\n\n\nWe’re excited to provide youth with opportunities to compete throughout the year\, gain experience\, and continue developing their meat judging skills. The series is open to youth nationwide and will include contests on:\n\n\nOctober 5\nJanuary 8\nFebruary 15\nMarch 24\nApril – date TBD\n\n\nWhether you want to learn\, practice\, or compete\, there’s a place for you with Wyoming Meat Judging.
