Specialty Crops

The Wyoming Specialty Crop Program (administered by the Wyoming Department of Agriculture) provided significant funding for the development of the Eat Wyoming project. The specialty crop program is intended to increase the consumption of specialty crops and increase the competitiveness of specialty crop growers, two goals that the Eat Wyoming project fully supports. Specialty crops are generally defined as “fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, horticulture and nursery crops (including floriculture)”. Click here for more specifics on Specialty Crops as determined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
